Sir andrematty, I repeat that your's a good solution but... what's happens if someone flees everytime he receive a non good plane? Or... how can i continue to play all planes?
ELO is not a strange math formula... it is the UNIVERSAL chess ranking evaluator... No way to cheat! That's a professional system!
Anybody ever played yahoo chess? ok that's an almost ELO system! no way to cheat! (only playing with yourself but it will help only beginners and low ranked intermediate)
But chess has only one scenario and the two sides are QUITE balanced!
