I have to agree with Falconfab on this one. As long as someone is playing within the rules, they are extracting the joy they want from the game. Please don't think I respect or enjoy DragoonHK's style of play, but it is legal (I just don't play him) 
As for unballanced scenarios, Please keep Some of them in! I really enjoy *occasionally* playing the unballanced games, on either side 
When I'm on the "Easy" side, I teach myself to fly carefully, conservatively. When I am on the "Doomed" side, I find myself flying with a wild abandon, taking risks and having the fun that I sometimes deny myself in a "balanced" game! 
As for statistics, I like them. Just because some of the "Big Boys" are still way ahead of me on the list does not mean I am going to give up! As an aspect of the game, I enjoy clawing and biting my way up the list  But it is just that, an aspect of the game, another dimension of something I really enjoy.
As for scenario ratings? Sure, why not. But then its not me that has to write the code
