Ashtar, just one thing isn't clear to me above all in this long argumentation: if you (and so many other brave pilots, for what I'm reading here) claim that you don't play at all looking at shoot down statistics, what do you care if your enemy's crippled plane flees out from the wrong side and saves his day? You either gain the air superiority and have him losing half of his points, maybe this will also push him down and you up winning the match. What else do you want, maybe his head hanging above your chimney? Sticking fleeing routes to their proper sides will add a strong handycap only to the german planes, which currently must deal already with fuel consumption. How many DrI and DrVII will dare crossing a 17x12 board then? Maybe the fuel capacity for germans could be raised more: this will surely end the run for the edge near turn 20. I'm not comfortable with an enemy or a wingman (especially!) who flees the board at the first shot, and either I don't like players who fly nothing less than Snipe or S.S., but this it's another topic. (If you feel so upset at the wounded fish sneaking out your net from the wrong hole, you can always tell to your mates that you ALMOST caught one SOOO long!) Thanks God it's a game.
