Message text To be honest I DID always try to escape from my own side, (and the stats show it  ) I did it up to a point...
What did make me sick was that some players usually:
lingered by their own side (while I could forget the axis, I can't forget the allied ones.. and I moslty play axis...  )
escaped from the wrong side to avoid being shot down.
So, while it can be questionable from my part, when doom seemed inevitable I started to escape from the side nearest to me, whatever it was...
So, while I can agree with you up to a point, I would like you to keep offensive words to yourself...
If we start to argue about exiting the map we should also argue about many "styles" of play... without calling "moron" anyone....
You don't agree with a rule that can be changed without affecting play, and as I can see, many players (myself included) don't like it either, then why not proposing a Poll in the yahoo group and see how many players are with us, then, maybe, the good Webmasters might just concede to our humble wish.......... 
Just, please, try to avoid insulting comments...
