I am agree with that, the point (1) should be applied in the "rank by winned games". I am agree with webmaster when he say "we are here to play, and to have fun not for rankings" but... if we all trust these words we cold just remove rankings from the page, no ?
I would apply even the kill/death proposed by GUGLIANDALF in his previous post, for some reason : the ranking would be more dinamic, and more challenging. Otherwise is quite impossible (or REALLY impossible) to catch aces like Falconfab or Zif (me !!! )or Mrocci, Gladiatore and the other top-aces for new players.
This actualk ranking is "rewarding" players who play MORE games, despite of losses. I am not saying it is a priority, absolutely, but I hope the SKYmaster and his staff will have it on the ToDo list.
Reassuming :
Ranking by kill rate in the "shot down planes ranking" (Gugliandalf "method")
Ranking by percentuage in the "Ranking for winned games"

It should avoid a player to do some perfect game and stay for ever first. Maybe even some more than 5
