There is a difference between the rookie-basher ( I prefer rookie to newbie) and the handicap games.
For example the Snipe vs. 2 DvA scenario in a Rookie basher: the Albatros simply cannot turn fast enough to keep up with the Snipe. Fokker D. VII is a little better, but it has way too less fuel to be a real threat. And by the way: it is evident that Snipe vs. 2 Fokker D. VII is an rookie-basher scenario, if there is a Snipe vs. 4 (FOUR) D. VII scenario...
Another thing is the Snipe vs. 2 Schuckhert scenario (and vice versa): this one is a real probing test for the pilot. Winning a game like this proves you earned your wings! And the warning in the game creating page is quite clear.
