Hi Daniel this is a nice idea, but... u can generally understand from the involved planes (number and quality) where the scenario is balanced or not.
When u look at a scenario, on my opinion, consider these factors :
-numbers of planes : generally side with more planes got an initial advantage. Tactically at least -quality of planes : planes with lower fuel, 4 on tail, or 6 on engine are "weaker". Low on fuel I intend Fokker DrI and DVII, but the wort are planes with 4 on tail : a single R on tail can kill u. Engine value 6 planes are more nimble than engine 8, but avoid frontal fire -Armament : planes with single gun make less damage, so u got to track your foe lots of time to kill it, luck apart. Consider it. -Nieuport 17 : 1 gun, 4 on tail and really weak on wings, plus slow. Think twice before join a battle with this lovely flying grave
When join a scenario, u can calculate the "guns factor" Add guns number of a side and add this side tail points (x). Do the same for the other side (y). (x/y)/2 *100 = chance of win the scenario for A side
B side got the remanent
I said "win the scenario" , not kill all enemy
Good luck

Having just read a thread about some scenarios being tilted towards one side or the other, I have a few suggestions.
As a newbie I really can't tell whether a scenario is balanced or not so I'd like to get some help.
First of all, I'd like for all the scenarios to say in the description whether they are slanted towards either side. This is just says whether the creator of the scenario thinks that it's tilted.
Second it would be nice to see in the description what the odds are. I mean it would be nice to see something like
Wins: German: 1240 Allied: 437 |
