New Rules* The historical time progresses as proposed but each player must report his kills and he dies whenever he is reported or acknowledged as killed. It doesn't matter if some of his kills belong to games which started after the game in which is killed. The only thing which matters is how many kills you managed to report before someone makes known you are killed
I think this is a great solution BD. It will be fun and adds needed flexebility.
* Each player will have to report his kills in a thread in the forum (or maybe using email).
I think it would be an improvemnt on how these long contests are managed to move to an email system exclusively for transfering finished game data and deaths. Relevent, verified data could be posted on the board by a designated warmaster (s). (We all no the many limitations of this board so I wont list them all again)
* The organizers will be called "WarMasters"
...unless they are responsible for shooting down your Ace, then you must call them 'Daddy'.
* Your squadron mates *may* report your kills if they come back home safely.
Cool!
* Games which doesn't end within the end of the War are considered as "ininfluent" for the outcome of the War.
Excellent.
Badge Awards /BOLD] We will make up a whole ranking system based on kills and completed missions, which will give pilots the opportunity to gain ranks and badges.
I think medals and what not are a great idea. The BM obviously and other lesser achievments could be noted. Most kills on a sortie, Valiant struggles, ect. ect.
This is going to be fun!
