I think it is a very ambitious idea BD when considering some of the realities of playing BM online (slow game progression, drop-out players).

Have you considered laying out in advance which scenarios are going to be played and when the games should be created? I think something like this would keep some level of progress to the campaign and give everyone before-hand knowledge of when a scenario is going to be posted.
For an example a campaign manager would set up the designated scenario(s) on the scheduled week. As the scenarios fill up he creates new ones until all the demand is expired. (this way everyone who wants to gets to play no matter when they find youplay.it or information about the campaign.)
(Also, what happens to a pilot that is playing a August 1918 scenario and is killed in an early scenario that began months before??)
Anyway, I think it is a cool idea, would be willing to collaborate, and am looking forward to playing.
