Ehmmm... once I saw an experienced player being shot down by his novice wife, and I could see strong hatred in his eyes while he was saying "we are going to discuss about it at home..." (for italians, "A casa facciamo i conti", che rende meglio l'idea...)
I was myself shot down several times by a former girlfriend who had never before played anything more complex than "tic tac toe". That was the fun of it. It _was_ a wargame, and a very nice one at that, but it played incredibly easy, and you didn't need tons of experience to win.
You wanted a complex air simulation, you could always go buy and (try to) play "Air Superiority"
