Cluck & Boogie just pulls out when he's out of gas (8 or less) or could be downed by a just one more shot. It keeps him alive more that those of us who stick around with 1 wing left or zero fuel because were covering for our wingmen. That's why I've been killed a record 222 times and he has only been shot down 62 times.
