Mmm, I think a good runner (with 2 guns and some reasonable overall hit points) can have reasonable chances to bring down a 2-seater...

P.S.
Personally I tend to classify planes as

1. Runners (planes with 2s1 except siemens schuckert D.III-IV and sopwith snipe)

2. Dancers (planes with 2s2)

3. 2-seaters

4. SS (siemens schuckert D.III-IV and sopwith snipe)
