I actually enjoy flying the DIII vs the Bristol. I think the DIII, if flown well, has a decent chance to take out the Bristol. But you must fly well. I.E. You must use your strengths against him.
1. Go for head on shots (your 2 guns vs his 1 gun give you the slight edge).
2. Don't stick close for turning duels - fly at 'em, and then fly away (FAST) and take a turn or two to cycle back.
3. Know when to run. Watch the end-game. Don't try to do "one more pass" It takes a lot of fuel to stay out of the clutches of that observer - so make sure you have an escape route for every pass. And use it.
Sure the Bristol will win on points most of the time, but the joy in this scenario is the kill.
I have flown _many_ games against sajami. Sure it is a nice way to rank up the points (and maybe kills against newbies, but then so is stalling ) - but against an experienced pilot, the Bristol has to be careful.
