| | Message text The Triplane usually wins on firing points, not by shooting down the Albatross DIII.
You would only score these points for shooting down the opponent.
The DIII has a higher rating because at ranges 2 and 3, to does more damage. It also has more damage boxes and 2 guns vs. 1 for the Sopwith. The Sopwith is vulnerable with few tail boxes and can be shot down on a single red chit which reduces its value because its easier to shoot down.
The aircraft values don't take into account pilot skill or the proper use of the aircraft, just the basic attributes of the plane.
