You are quite right about Lt. Arzash. I have just learned that on the few days that he is granted leave from his flight duties he actually volunteers to plunder and pillage the Belgium countryside on horseback! The man is truly indefatigable when it comes to stirring up a 'blaze of riot'(  ).
