Gladiatore : the character dimension problem is related to users standard resolution. Till now, after about 100 visitors, around 60% users had 1024x768.
This is the right resolution to see the site. Then 27% 1600x1200, 1280x1024 and 1152x864 (should be fine anyway). The remanents 13% use 800x600 and it must appear "too large" and needing scrolling. Since 800x600 is a bit "old" I think I'll left the character as now. Swartz ask me to use bigger characters, he can't read. Maybe he use a larger resolution, like 1600x1200.
This is a problem I have to face. The other is that maybe in different browsers than Internet Explorer (like Opera or Netscape) the page could look different. I still haven't tested it. Yesterday I buy an HTML manual  I'll try to make a "standard" that should be fine for everyone  |
