Message text I'm sorry Gladiatore, when I said "by the way" I was talking in general against standard rules, and not strictly about this tournament.
Obviously in a game with balanced planes (like Nieuport 28 vs Albatros D.Va), the pilots make the difference (loser rul ... ehm, standard rules), but if you play 2 games reversing side with not-so-balanced planes and standard rules, the pilot with the stronger plane will probably win the game, so it will be a draw and will be necessary a points count. I can't be sure a pilot is better than another one if the results are 70-34 and 45-61 (IMO the results are mainly influenced by the plane). If you play with advanced rules it becomes more tactical, because a *single distraction* could be fatal ... and I like that. Never been fired is the only sure way to stay alive!
But these are only opinions ... someone said "to win a soccer game you have to score a goal more than your opponent". Is this true when the ball is a bullet?
