Message text I asked about it once, and they answered that they were not actually thinking of changing it... but I can't be sure whether this subject is on their VEEEERY long to do list However, yes, it could be implemented by using a damage matrix with damage chits switched off after being drawn once... Moreover, if things have to be done strictly according to the original game, particular attention should be paid to chit B/R correspondence, as, when damage is drawn, B chits are drawn before R chits (e.g. If I have to draw a BR damage, and I first take a Smoke B chit, the same chit with the Fire damage on the R side should be marked as unavailable when I draw the R damage chit... quite elaborate). P.S: For convenience of players who only played online, I remind all that in the original Blue Max boardgame there are 35 damage chits, one side with a Blue damage, the other side with a Red one (there is also an optional 36th chit with Pilot Killed on both sides, which is strongly suggested to be removed for more balanced play...) |
