Message text The Spad XIII is often highly underestimated from newbies for its wide turn, its low range of special manouvers and the B accuracy value, but it has the unique max speed of 4, which paired with its fuel tank of 52 makes of it the perfect strike attack fighter.
You must remember that a speed 4 attack is always a real puzzle for every enemies, and if it's done from 1 hex distance is as deadly as a speed 3 attack. And when in trouble, nobody can catch a speed 4 break-off.
It has naturally its reverse, ie. you need large maps or you will get outmanouvered from even the Albatros V, and a speed 4 run need a careful planning or you'll find yourself pointing straight at speed 3 to the wrong map edge.
It's always a good training to fly all the aircraft to get safe from such surprises.
