Message text I can sympathise with Silver Sunchild's concerns. I'm quite new too, although I got some good coaching in one-on-ones with Sbrinz and Nastymigue - 2 very experienced guys.
I seem to have good days and bad days. Sometimes I can see the board so clearly that I just know where guys are moving to and can take the guys down. Other days I just can't hit anything and die in no time! Very frustrating!
I think you just have to be patient and trust your instincts, sooner or later it starts to come good.
Sunchild, I've started a new squadron with some seriously good pilots (Monkey Hanger, Tomski, Bramley Bomber, Ignavus) I'm already learning a lot from them. I would suggest this is the way to go - there's always willing pilots if you want them...
I still have the worlds worst Kill/Death ratio though, even if the wins are coming in thick and fast!
Most importantly - I'm enjoying it and feel that the other guys out there are starting to respect my fledgling skills.....
