It seems to me that the result of a filtering such as the one proposed here would be to create a very close-knit elite group who would not play with anyone else unless "on invitation", and that overall, the site would suffer.

I say automoving bad players would definitely be the best option. Skymasters, how's the roadmap for BM2 coming along? Still targeting the end of 2021 as a release date?
