Exactly. He must get 1 kill maximum.
Concerning formation, what a "formation" is, to start with: a group of planes tailing each other.
A "superformation" is a formation <i>made of formations</i>. E.G.
Al is leader of fomation #1, Bob, his wingman, flies at 4 o'clock, 1 hex far.
Formation #2 is at 8 o'clock, 2 hexes apart, with Chuck and Dave in the same roles.
Formation #3, Ed and Frank, is specular.
So, Chuck and Ed tail Al,
Bob tails Al,
Dave tails Chuck,
Frank tails Ed.
How to "stay in formation"? Read tail of leader, guess his possible moves and move as to find yourself again tailing him. This is lesson #1.
