I see some reasons in your thought... don't know clear witch one but I think I will understandt it...
Anycase... it is very difficult that you cannot play for a very long period 'cause you cannot... normally you choose to . So if I have to vote for automove I will vote to implement it with a long (3 or 4 months)or very long (6 month) wait period and to introduce it gradually or many "old" players will find hundreds moves to do in a row.
