What has a sense? Accepting a frontal fire at distance 1 in the third turn with the same fire table (9 vs 9)? Or accepting a frontal fire (10 vs 12, I mean -2) after a damage of BRRRRR taken in the previous turns against an undamaged enemy?

My 2 pennies on the same old story
I completely agree, frontal shots from distance one are a call on fortune. If you think you are more skilled then your opponent you should avoid them.
And people looping or otherwise turning by 180 degrees when tailed normally deserve to die.

The "shoot and not be shot" idea is trying to get the tail of your opponent and do not give him any chance to hit you on a table higher then 4 or 5. When playing without special damages and with a Snipe, for instance, you realize that even a table 8 shot has a very limited chance to bring you down, and your style inevitably changes.
For the same reason I would like to see a more accurate point system, where the points other pilots gained by shooting at you are subtracted from your score (and viceversa, of course). But that's another story...
Have a lot of advanced fun
