Could you please let me understand why point ratio??? We are using advanced rules so luck is important... it seems that with point ratio luck is more and more important. Do I miss something???
Thanks in advance. Swartz
I think you are right, point ratio is not a good idea, but it is not marcuza foult, he just hinerited this tournament from Galbano, who set the rules, half started it and then leaved (and by the way, the point ratio originally comes from the infamous TdN tournament). I think the rationale was to balance high points scenarios (like the 2vs2 with SSs you played) with low point ones (like 2vs2 with runners, were shots are rare). But I agree it doesn't work, sorry for your unluck. On the other hand also winning by one point would have been sheer luck, don't you agree?

Anyhow, I think that the best criteria is the one adopted for the FK tournament, with kills being the most important parameter and points sum the second. Indeed WW1 pilots were not rated by points but by kills... |
