I just had a look at your game & everything checks out okay. The stall you performed is still a speed 1 maneuver; the same speed as boffo's maneuver.
Zero hex shots do work (trust me, It's gotten my tail shot off more times than I care to count  ), but you will need a speed differential to make it work |
