Sorry, I was not too clear.
I mean that in the end all planes on the map are drawn with the same width and height (58x58), so it's only important that every rotated plane image is not badly stretched when shown.
If this is already the case, there is nothing to do.
If you think that this is not, and you are willing to try, you can resize images as you like, as long as they are OK when shown at 58x58 resolution.
This is not true for the main image, that can even be bigger, because it is never shown on the map, but only on the Plane chart, mantaining it's original size.
Is it clearer now?
