I would like that amount of money, so I could propose you a completely new approach:
what about installing onboard of your plane a sophisticated system which detects smoke and starts an automatic routine of fire extinguishing?
The only problem is that these kind of techonlogical things tend to become unstable, you may frequently need to restart your system (landing and taking off again...), and sometimes your whole system may even "crash"!  |
