Message text I think Submarine (a game really well make, playable and exciting) would be very suitable to play on net….. Ok, ok, I know our webmaster(s) are hard working to satisfy we drooling players always hungry for new games and variants. And I’m very satisfied about WS&IM choice, it’s one of the oldies I prefer since when I and other fellows acquired one (Battleline, not yet Avalon!) box in London, in 1974 (Gee, what an old wargamer I am, isn’t it? ) but.... But, talking about Submarine....: there is a great number of dice rolls (radar & sonar searchs effectiveness, torpedoes dudding, torpedoes damage amount, evasive action and deep charge effectiveness etc) that could be perfectly managed with computer, not talking about real submarine’s view ranges, avoiding for example a submerged sub to see real ships position etc etc. However I have the rules in 1337 kb acrobat version (not all various came charts etc but I could make excel versions) and, if required, I would be available to supply suggestions and clarifications of the game rules (not in English, please ). What do you think about? |
