Message text I realized that, when fighting an opponent, I use my knowledge of him in evaluating his possible moves. E.g. when guessing if he's going to stall, i'm less prone to consider a stall with an "old wolf" than with a newbie, and so on.
So the idea is: keep enemy player's IDs hidden until end of game, much like damage points sustained. This way if I team, say, with Halberstadt and mrAlfa against Monkey Hanger, Wadehek and bassman89, I'll know wich plane, in my own team, is flown by Halbie and wich one by mrAlfa, but I won't know wich one of the opposing planes is flown by each enemy team member. No more "he's an old wolf, he will never stall" or "he's a greenhorn, I'll stall to shoot him at point-black".
I'd keep scores hidden too, so no more "I'm winning, let's turn and zoom home".
Any thougths about it? |
