Dear lepres, that's not a bug at all. A gliding plane is a sitting duck, fodder for your machine gun, not an annoyance. If you have a gliding Halberstadt around, get to the hex right behind it and BLOW HIM OUT OF THE SKY! The boardgame rules allow a gliding plane to shoot (by the way, I'm not so sure that they dived so fast...), so I don'r see why they couldn't be allowed here...
