First, the rules.
1. There are 14 teams, divided among 2 groups of 7 teams.
2. On phase 1, each team of a group will met each other team of the same group _twice_. That means that every CO will set up *six* games (password: tdn), _without choosing any plane_, then inform the CO of the team the game is meant for, that will choose side. So the same CO that setup the games will join six other games set up by other COs of the group.
2.1 All games will be played on a medium size board, advanced rules, fixed placement.
2.2 Victory will be per points scored by the entire team (i.e. the sum of all team member's scores), as per standard YouPLay rules (i.e. halving for wrong side exit applies).
2.2.1 An aircraft exiting with fuel and engine not at 0 wil be penalized by an amount equal to its remaining fuel. There are exception to this rule as follows.
2.2.1.1 An aircraft with *all* his sections (engine, wings, fuselage and tail) shot by more than *50%* won't be penalized.
2.2.1.2 An aircraft with *any one* of its sections shot by more than *75%* won't be penalized.
2.3 In case of draw (i.e. one team wins a game, the other team wins the other game), victory will go to the team that has the best _score ratio_. E.g. if A beats B by 120/100 on game 1 and B beats A by 330/300, the winner is A (120% vs. 110%).
2.3.1 In the unlikely case rule 2.3 doesn't break tie, the COs of the two teams will meet in a 1-1 match _a l'outrance_ (only a kill wins, exits are null), to be repeated in case of draw until the victory is finally assigned. The scenario will be Snipe vs SS on a medium size board.
2.4 Each victory is worth a point for the group standings.
2.5 At the end of phase 1, the topmost *four* teams of each group will proceed to phase 2.
2.5.1 In case of tie (same number of points), the total sum of all scores in all group games played by each team will be used for tie-breaking.
2.5.1.1 In case rule 2.5.1 doesn't break tie... I will cry and stomp my little feet! You bad pilots! You did it on purpose! 
3. Phase 2 will be a direct elimination affaire. More to come about it.

Second, some guidelines to make it easier for me.
1. *Mail* to me or to the Yahoo group the link of any game that starts or ends, stating team names in the subject.
2. *Don't rely on forum for this*, but post there too if you wish.
3. Put a tag "[TdN]" in the subject, please.
Third, a final check. Here are the groups and teams.
