I've already said what I think about fuel. But I'll repeat it here.
It can be a disadvantage if part of the squad has 37 fuel while the other part has 52.
If all the squad has nearly the same fuel, when fuel is over, the squad leaves. The game lasts just as long as fuel lasts. If the squad has played well to this point (or has had lots of luck) the squad wins. If the squad has NOT played well to this point, it loses.
That's it.
I know very well that there are a lot of newbies out there that find themselves suddenly right at the centre of the map gliding.
And also lots of newbie-busters that choose the plane with more fuel, and avoid combat until the enemy's fuel is over. This technique is simply stupid against expert pilots and unsportsmanlike agaisnt newbies
And if one is playing in a team, and uses this technique, she is doubly stupid, because her wingpersons will be outnumbered!!!!!!
