Message text You could also have the scenario as part of the set up. eg. Six Nieuports 'bounced' by a single Siemens (one of the recent and excellent scenarios  ), so the Siemens is placed *behind* the Nieuports at the start... Enough space needed so that the nieuports can 'break' before getting shot at, but gives the Siemens a more even chance.
Set ups could be 'ambush' as above, no-mans land as a standard set up, defensive formation, so one freely placed formation vs free set up opponents etc.
