Try it and get to the top of a ranking and see how your dice luck improves and the number of FTE and PK you get.

We're just suggesting you watch and see if we're right.
Just looking at the last 5 games in a scenario I top the rankings on, my average die roll was 3.444 and my opponents' average die roll was 3.677. Additionally, I got 8 kills with only 2 PKs whereas my opponents got 3 kills with 2 of them PKs. I can't compare it to games prior to topping the rankings, but I can say that it appears to me that rank has little priviledge for me.
