So, I think what I need to do is in classic BM games (without Altitude), try to replicate the simplicity of what we have here.
Thats what 2D view approximates. Give me some time. At some point, this site must go away. It's the way of things.

It doesn't mean the new site has to stomp all over it though. Altitude! rules require 3D, so much time was spent on that. I did try to make a 'classic' version of Cartegena, and I'm happy to do that for BlueMax.

I want to remind everyone, I'm doing this for you, the players. If something doesn't 'float your boat' or 'put the wind under your wings', tell me what it is and what you'd like to see instead.

TBH, while I appreciate the time and effort to make the 3d models, I play in 2D mode, and actually prefer the traditional plane counters; they are more distinctive and easier to sort out who's who. A lot of the 3d models look very similar, and the only way I really know which one is mine is the gold circle.

Possible fixes, none of which are going to make everyone happy.

1. In traditional Blue Max games, use 2D counters, since there's no altitude and no need to visualize things in 3D.

2. Repaint some of the 3D models in colors from the traditional Blue Max game, so they are more distinctive.
