Subject: have gun losses recorded on the side hit

Message text
I have encountered instances where only my port side is exposed to gunfire but I lose my starboard side guns on the hits. Is it possible to have gun losses attributed to the side of the ship hit. In the case of a complete rake, can the gun losses be distributed equally along each side?

Thanx Much
