The half kill forces a disabled pilot to make a decision. Stay in the game and act as a decoy (and risk becoming a full kill) or cut you losses and leave (and award your opponent a half kill). The half kill will probably break alot of ties as well.

There should be some form of a kill awarded, whether it be full or half, because if not, leaving the board would rob the opponent of an opportunity to score a kill.

I would suggest we can employ football match system into it. Instead of a single 6 point deduction (very hard punishment) we should develop milder one.

6 mark deduction misbehaviour
a. Dopplenger appears in same/opposite team (same person's control 2 or more plane in a single match)

3 mark deduction misbehaviour
a. Radio interaction (inter communication between teammate or enemy)

1 mark deduction misbehaviour
a. writing foul language, saying bad words in the forum area

Leaving field early will be counted as 0.5 kill, so no need for this misbehaviour punishment, if they think its worth they will do so.

Just my 0.02 rmb cent

They sound pretty fair and should discourage "dishonourable" behaviour

I'm still not 100% happy about counting players who leave the field as half a kill.....because it lessens the value of a "proper" kill. But, on saying that, I can't think of another method of taking that into account
