| | Message text First let me say I love the damage chits - it makes it feel more like a board game, man I remember pulling the chits out of a brown paper bag way back in the 80's. It always reminded me of a courage test - stick your hand in the stump full of who knows what.
Anyway - in many games the damage chits and the damage track sheet are not matching up. For example, in the game move that prompted this message, I am 2 hexes directly behind a Halb. (no deflection) his tail gunner fires and I take 2 hits - one in the engine for 2 points, and 1 in the tail for 1 point. Now, as we all know - all that damage should have gone into my engine, but instead it all was applied to my tail. In other games I've had a damage chit that read ' must do L next two turns, only to be recorded by the game as 'no speed 3 or 4 m's' (these were hits with deflection btw, not head on or tail on).
Love the game & I haven't paid this years dues yet, so I'm not expecting any quick fixes - just an FYI on the problem. |
