Hi,

Which is more important in a game "Luck" or "Skill"?

My vote is for skill of course, but the fortunes of war sometimes can just count against you at times. Here is a good example how bad luck can ruin one's day

Winning or losing if your not having fun playing miniature games with friends then you have the wrong hobby.

What's the old saying? Luck is the residue of good design?

I think its a combination of both. You need to have the skill to put yourself in more situations where you can be lucky. Kind of like cards. YOu can't control the cards but you can make informed decisions so that you keep the luck factor to a minimum.
