Actually the ToDo list contains even more ambitious changes. The idea is to drop the 3 fixed dimension maps, and allow a minimum and maximum X,Y dimension for each scenarios. This way a scenario could say that the map should be created from 6x6 to 10x10, but during the game creation any dimension in range can be choosen. It could even be 6x10 or 8x9.
As already said, currently we slowed down the work on Blue Max. We need to deploy WS&IM, standardizing his new programming style, so that we could eventually use it even for Blue Max. Working hard on Blue Max now would be waste of programming time, because we are planning a lot of improvements on it, and we need a stable starting code to implement them appropriately. Anyway a lot of work was already done.
Really looking forward into it
In the meantime I am working on something that could make passworded games almost useless. We implemented it for the Vampiring game, and probably in a couple of day it will be online. If everything will be working well, I'll start to gradually propagate this new feature to every other game. Stay tuned Fourth Make passworded games useless.... really curious what it will be, experience system? auto move? ranking system?
Stay with hope
