I've exited games when I was getting torn up, but I did not realizer it was bad form. I won't do it again. Are there other rules or courtesies I should be aware of?
its not neccessarily bad form. realistically if you were flying a plane that was outmatched then you would run from the fight. what is annoying is when people flee the fight when in a plane that is undamaged or only a little damaged because they are too afraid of getting shot down. whether it is because they lack confidence in their abilities or there is special damage to the planes that we cant see is another matter though.
personally i tend to fight on even if i only have 1 piece of engine tail or wing left, though i certainly try to avoid being shot at - which usually means that i dont get to shoot myself it helps my teammates by putting pressure on teh opponents as they have to consider the hexes where you threaten.......
so basically what i am saying is play the game to enjoy it and to do that you need to forget about the statistics and try to think of it as a team game and so help your wingmen as much as you can - even if that means a bit of a risk for yourself, but bug out if it is too great a risk.
