May be, some players have the technical knowledge and some spare time to give for helping in the whole project by doing minor things (review/optimize code, develop small functions, etc.).
I want to clarify things a bit on this matter: working on the site is a great fun for us. We are doing it as an hobby, and an hobby has to be fun, otherwise it becames a work.
To open the site development to others, we should change our habits. We would need proper guide lines documenting code and development steps. In the end, we would have no time to write program code, because we should be planning and checking what the others are doing. I know this well, because this is what happens every day during work hours.
But this is not a work, this is an hobby. We need to hve fun to properly run our site, so we are not (and won't) accepting new developer for our development team.
This is the best choice for us, so it is the best choice for the site too.
