If I guess correctly, Barret .50 was the "bodyguard" and you, his girlfriend, were one of the peasants ... or am I completely wrong? 
On the other hand, I'm almost sure about who turok is (his "city" betrays him ...) He was a werewolf in the next game, if I remember well ...
