Now imagine to create an Albatros DII or a Fokker Eindecker, or a Nieuport11 and Morane Bullet and make them weaker of Nieuport17 and Albatros DIII :
to have the game "balanced" we should leave them less "strong" than 1917 planes.

So what moves to give 'em ? 3S3 9L2 and 9r2 ? and some few other ? It could mean a really low playability and quite a boring playing.

It shouldn't be so difficult to add early war planes as long as people all agree.

The Albatros DII was fairly similar to the Albatros DIII although the DIII may have been a bit more maneuverable due to it having the V struts - however, the DII may have had stronger wings. By "tweaking" the DIII model to make it a little bit less maneuverable (perhaps by removing one of the speed 3 moves) and making the wings a bit stronger, Voila!, we have a DII.

The Nieuport 17 was an evolution of the Nieuport 11 and 16 so we could "de-evolve" it a bit to come up with a Nieuport 11 - basically, the Nieuport 11 was a bit lighter at the controls but slower - perhaps we could remove one of the speed 3 moves for starters to account for the Bebe's slower speed?

DH/2 was fairly maneuverable but slow - we could use the Nieuport 17 as a basis to start off from but remove some of the speed 3 moves and eliminate some of the "stall turns" (the DH/2 had a bad tendency to spin).

The E.III wasn't really that good of a plane - what made it so effective was because not many planes had forward firing guns when it came into service...for that, we could start off with the SS D. I and remove most of the speed 3 moves. Basically, the DH/2 should be slightly superior to the E.III. A well flown DH/2 should give a Albatros D. II some difficulty (because of its maneuverability) but the greater speed and the firepower of the D. II makes it superior overall.
