Gonzaga is now up and running, and I'll be moving over Vampiring soon. I've decided not to move King Me over.

September 9th 2026: Retirement of Cartagena and BlueMax on Legacy
Thanks to all the Beta Testers, both Cartagena and Blue Max are ready to go fully live on the Modern site.
Sometime this weekend, you will no longer be able to create new Cartagena games on this site and will be redirected to the new site.
Shortly thereafter, the same will occur for BlueMax.
All games currently in progress will continue to be available. In a few weeks, all the statistics will move as well.
Very soon I'll also stop allowing new posts in the Legacy Forum. The new Forums are where I look these days.
Wooden Ships & Iron Men continues to work its way through some Alpha testing and will be up on Beta soon. Once it's fully debugged, it will move over as well. At that time, this site will no longer be the main site for YouPlayIt and the modern version will become primary.
If you haven't made your way over to the Modern site, please do so now. If you have any questions, thats the place to ask them. I welcome all constructive feedback about the new site.

July 5th 2026: Thank You Beta Testers! Keep it up!

Thank you Beta Testers! I've spotted more bugs, design issues, and lots of improvement opportunities in the past few days than I could ever catch on my own!
Please continue!!!
As a result of your testing and feedback, I've made several internal improvements as well as a number of UI changes.
One note: Please don't join a game if you can't post a move more than once or twice a week. I don't need you glued to your screen, but I've started to force automove slow players. Just while we are in testing phase.
Another note: If you get a strange code error, wait a min, refresh your screen, and try again. I'm pushing new code all the time.

June 4th 2026: Much Work Done!
A lot of progress has been made on what I'm internally calling YouPlayItModern.
Cartegena is up and running and is playable. Art is not complete and I still tuning a LOT of items, but all the base code is in place. The menu is not what I want yet at all either. But, I'll be asking for beta testers very soon!
This forum is not the greatest place to post images. So if you go to the Facebook page, you can see whats been done as of a few days ago. I'm not going to post anymore until I get the actual artwork done. Not copying current artwork, using my own to avoid THAT issue.
So, take a look when you can. Remember, this is setting the stage for the new BlueMax and WS&IM. the 3D/2D perspectives, menus, automovers, etc. Check it out.
If you are not a FB user (and I TOTALLY understand that) then I'll get a link for you to look at eventually. Or, you can just login when its ready.
