I never considered score as a major bug in playtesting... but yes, ther's definitely a bug!

Ships don't score points for shooting (like in BM) but only sinking opponents... so...if you sink the whole enemy fleet single handed...you must score the same points... or not?

or ther's another factor to be considered (like, maybe "total damage inflicted on target before it sinks" ?

Looking back to my last games one-to-one of "Arbuthnot and Des Touches" ...(just the one I won, to be consistent) my score ranged so:

French - (74/116/118/96/119/119/117/91/117)
British - (78/79/104/103/93/95/36)

Ahem ... 74 (game 255) and 36 (game251) are quite low...
